Trask Innovation Fund proposal submissions are due February 16

January 31, 2024

The Trask Innovation Fund, managed by the Purdue Innovates Incubator, awards up to $50,000 for short-term projects that enhance the commercial value of Purdue intellectual property.

Purdue University faculty at all campuses and colleges who have submitted invention disclosures to the Purdue Innovates Office of Technology Commercialization are encouraged to submit project proposals; the deadline for the next round of funding is Friday, February 16.

The proposal submission guidelines are online. Submissions must be submitted through the Sponsored Program Services (SPS) Pre-Award Center. Questions about the application process should be directed to trask@prf.org.

$150,000 in Trask funding was awarded to four Purdue projects in the Fall 2023 round of funding. $118,000 was awarded to three projects during the previous round in Spring 2023.
