Sherry Harbin’s work has not only pushed the boundaries of biomedical engineering but has also led to the creation of her startup, GeniPhys. Harbin is founder and chief technology officer of the company, a medtech innovator specializing in next-generation regenerative collagen polymeric biomaterials. She led the development of the Collymer platform, which received FDA clearance for applications in advanced wound care in 2025, in collaboration with her research team.
