Nine companies with ties to Purdue University and/or Purdue Innovates were named in the “20 Startups to Watch” report published earlier in May by Indianapolis Business Journal. The report is part of IBJ’s Innovation Issue 2025.

Many of these companies were founded by Purdue University researchers and alumni. Several license their technology or have received funding from Purdue Innovates.
“These companies operate across a broad spectrum of industries, from agriculture and life sciences to quantum computing and aeronautics,” said Brooke Beier, senior vice president of Purdue Innovates. “Their growth and success show the strength and diversity of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Purdue.”
