Women CEOs of two Purdue University-connected companies headline the roster of The Startup Ladies’ #InvestInWomenFounders Summit on November 15.
Diana Caldwell of Amplified Sciences and Karen Wurster of Adipo Therapeutics will attend the half-day conference from noon-6 p.m. at the Delta Faucet HQ in Indianapolis, 55 E. 111th St. Tickets for the 2023 #InvestInWomenFounders event can be purchased online.
Each founder is paired with a seasoned entrepreneur or senior executive from a major company. These proven entrepreneurs/execs interview the founder and ask questions that will allow founders to cover the content in their decks. The moderated conversations allow the audience to engage with the founder in a supportive way.
In a news release, Kristen Cooper, CEO and founder of The Startup Ladies said, “In 2022, more than $200,000 was invested into women founders from individuals who attended the Summit. Additional money was invested into several of the participants throughout 2023. Money is finally moving into the hands of women founders and women business owners because The Startup Ladies chose to do something different than the traditional pitch competitions that are statistically biased against women.”
Congratulations to Diana and Karen on being selected to participate in this prestigious event!
